Day Off Blog

So since it was my day off thought it would be only fitting that I blogged a bit.

It was 11 degrees Celsius here today. An awesome day to have off. Chris and I went out in the Jeep for a few hours, it was really nice to finally have the windows open again. I love the fact that there is now tunes in it makes the Jeep that much more enjoyable. I forgot how many people stare at it. Everywhere we went people were all looking up at us. I love it! Not that I am a huge attention seeker, but the attention is always nice. So I found out that my boss and her boyfriend discovered the Jeep as well. It turns out that they were out for a drive yesterday when Chris was on his way to work. Her boyfriend pulled over to let him pass because he wanted to get a better look at it. I find it totally hilarious! I talked to her at work and the first thing she said was... "Is Chris's Jeep black with big tires and a huge stereo in it?" I just laughed.

All in all the day off was completely unproductive, I have my first GM meeting tomorrow at Home Office. Eight straight hours of listening to sure talk. A Yawner I am sure, but I am actually a wee bit nervous, pretty sure I will be the only new one in the room. I guess that means that there will be attention on me again, better be on my best behaviour. LOL

Thanks to the Googlemaster for pointing out the fact that my blog counter jumped a huge amount today. Must be the Bloggerama tag I picked up from Princess.

Oh on one of my Google adventures today I found this awesome link for those of you who are concerned about getting enough protein in your diet.

Sorry it is a small entry today, if I were to get into the semantics of my life at the moment you would be bored as hell, work, work, work.

Have you smiled today for no reason? Maybe you should!

Something I forgot...

So the City Of London is striking tonight. The first impact that will be noticed is that there will be no garbage pick up after the strike begins tonight at midnight. Guess who's garbage day is tomorrow morning! Oh Oh Oh! Pick me I know I know I know..... That is me dammit! Included are several other people that I know in the immediate area. Lat time the city went out on strike it last like 4 weeks or so except it was in the heat of the summer so the city was stinky, really stinky! I guess with it being winter will help ward off the smell, lets just hope that it doesn't snow!

On the flip side, when people can't use public recreation places it improves the business for those of us who are private which directly translates into $$$$ for GoodLife :o)

Gotta run

Quick Blog Before heading back to work

So it has been a really long week already, still have 3 more days to go including today. But..... Got cool news yesterday! From the 8th of March till the 12th of March I am going to be attending GM Boot Camp. A 5 day super intensive course in Burlington... Land of Ikea :o)
Of course the company will be putting me up in a hotel for the week and giving me a food allowance, which is just terrible if you ask me... LOL

Any way thought I would post a quick update before the end of the week.

Oh ya and I have a neat link for a few of you, courtesy of DJ Biz... check it out.Free Yourself from the fear of speeding!

I know I said I would blog today....

But I really am in no mood to. I have been in a shit mood since I read a certain persons blog yesterday. This person will remain description and nameless. I am just really disappointed. Maybe it is because I am in a better place in my life, maybe it is because I only harbour grudges to people who have actually done stuff to me or maybe it is because she blatantly called me a liar online. Oh well I see things have not changed. Needless to say it has been bugging me all weekend and I am in no mood to chat. Hopefully I will get rid of the mood and be able to salvage some of this weekend.

Bottom line is, I have finally found things that I am happy about and things that make me happy all the time, I guess there are reasons why I only communicate with a couple aspects of that part of my past. Those of you who I do, you know who you are and I thank you for being there still. For those of you who read this and are not regular parts of my life, there are reasons why.

Happy Valentine's Day All...

A little history lesson for those of you who are anti Valentine's day and an eye opener for those of you who use it as an excuse for all theother holidays int he year that you forgot... missed... or didn't care about.

Either way enjoy the day whether it is alone or with a loved one. If you are single this is a great day to head out and do things that other single people do, laundry, groceries, a movie matinee, you never know you may find your true love doing the same.

Smile eh!

New Hockey Rules!

Just a quick entry before work.

According to my daily newsletter from Leafs.com the GM's of the NHL are looking at bringing a few new rules into the game, both immediately and next season. From what I read they all sound reasonable to me. Let's see if they improve the offensive game as intended.

On another note... Congratulations to the Google Master on the arrival of his new machine. A true testament to the phrase... "Good things come to those who wait." Enjoy!

Alas off to work... Day 5 of 7 in a row.

I Got The Job :o)

So I got the job. The newest member of the management in training program at GoodLife Fitness. 15 People were vying for the position, 4 or so were to be hired and the position went to me :o) ( big huge grins for me today). I guess TeleTech was wrong in turning me down for 18 different positions, including one almost Identical to this one!

I may actually be looking at my own club sooner than I was expecting. There is a new one opening in Fredericton New Brunswick March 26th of this year and if I play my cards right I may get it as a club. West was my original goal, but if they trust me to run one already, East it will be. My question is who will come visit me?

So on another awesome note.... Got Free Beer Tonight! From the Labatts reps at Molly Blooms tonight. Chris and I went there to have some of their awesome wings and there was like 60 Labatts reps there doing promo. Tried the New Labatts Sterling. For a beer that only has 2.5 grams of carbs and 0.0 grams of fat it is an awesome tasting beer for those of us who are watching our waistlines. No gross aftertaste, refreshing and full of flavour. My take on it is similar to Blue Light in a can. That might be due to the fact that the bottle neck is wrapped in silver foil, either way it is worth the try. Especially when it was free like tonight. All you Londoners should be aware of the fact that the Labatts reps are doing pub crawls all week until Thursday, and they may be visiting the bar near you and dispersing gratuitous libations to all. If in doubt, head out :op

Cheers

Time To Blog Again

Wow it has been a while hasn't it. I have been so busy with work that the last thing that I have wanted to do is blog, I barely even check my email!.

So what is new.... Went 4 X 4n with Chris last night, that was fun got really stuck, it made me laugh a lot. Went to the North By Northwest blowout sale, no as good as it has been in previous years, but still found a few bargains.

So my management in training interview went really well, I should hear something in the next week or so. Apparently the rumor mill has it that there will be an opening here in London in the next week or so. Fingers crossed!

FOUND REALLY CHEAP GAS TODAY only... 68.6

Well gotta head back to work, really just wanted to let everyone know about the cheap gas!
Have a great day!
